Working with me
Why work with you rather than a firm?
You work directly with me, from first call to handover. I’ve founded three companies and exited two, so I know what running a business takes. I’ve also spent a decade inside major banks across credit risk, data science, investor relations and strategy, with engineering, finance and technology work across Asia, Europe and Australia.
Who isn’t a good fit?
Financial services and fintech businesses, anyone looking to pay in equity instead of fees, and anyone looking for the cheapest quote. If I’m not the right person for your problem, I’ll say so on the first call.
Is the first call free?
Yes. 30 minutes, with no obligation.
Do I have to hire you to deliver the plan?
No. The plan is yours to use however you like.
Do you work with startups?
Yes, as an adviser only. The build stays with your team.
Do you take equity instead of fees?
No.
Do you work remotely or in person?
Mostly remote, and in person in Sydney when it’s useful.

Will callers know it’s automated?
Yes. It says so upfront.
What if something isn’t right?
You see every enquiry, and I adjust the setup when something needs changing.
How much do Automations cost?
Automations is launching soon, and pricing goes to the waitlist first. Strategy and technology work is quoted case by case.

What does it cost?
Every project is scoped first and quoted case by case.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope. I’ll explain what drives the timing before we start.
What if you’re unavailable?
Everything is documented and stored in your own accounts.
Will it work with my existing software?
Usually, yes. We check during scoping.
Is there support after launch?
Yes, on an optional retainer.
Who owns it?
You do. The code, accounts and data are yours.
