About

As someone who has built businesses and advised them, I know how hard the big calls can be.

Ralph Noronha

Founder of Novara. Sydney, Australia.

I’m a seasoned professional based in Sydney, with more than 10 years’ experience across three continents. Novara is my consulting practice. Drawing on engineering, finance and technology, I work with business owners and senior leaders to plan, then build, solutions to bespoke problems.

I’ve walked in a business owner’s shoes as a three-time founder with two exits, and sat across from business leaders as a trusted representative of major banks. I believe in bridging data, people and processes, and turning that information into decisions that improve shareholder value, reduce losses and grow revenue.

Every client works with me directly, with personal attention from the first call to handover.

The path here

Engineer, banker, founder

  1. Engineering

    Engineer by training

I started as a mechanical engineer, which gave me a habit of breaking problems into parts and testing each one.

  2. Banking

    Inside major banks

Close to ten years across risk management, data science, investor relations and strategy. I saw how lenders and investors judge a business.

  3. Founder

    Three companies, two exits

I founded companies in travel and proptech. The latest used machine learning and 3D to find structural defects: a Top 3 startup at SXSW Sydney 2025, featured in Forbes Australia.

  4. Global

    Across three continents

Work across Asia, Europe and Australia, with study in economics at the University of Queensland and business at the University of Melbourne.

  5. Today

    Now: Novara

All of that, brought to business owners and senior leaders. You work with me from the first call to handover.
